Minshu Tsūshin Masthead

The Minshu Tsūshin was published twice a week for Japanese residents in Dalian, China by the Soviet Allied Forces from July 12, 1947 during its occupation of the city. The newspaper featured Soviet propaganda, criticizing imperialism and capitalism, and promoting socialism. The paper frequently reported news about the Japanese communist party and international news dispatched by the Telegraph Agency of the Soviet Union (TASS).
