(Seoul, Korea)

Keijō Nichinichi Shinbun Masthead

The Keijō Nichinichi Shinbun was a daily newspaper, first published by the president and chief editor Shunzō Tokio in 1920. However, management changed frequently. First, Tokio resigned the following year, and Junkichi Arima, the former chief editor of Chōsen Shinbun and President of Jinsen Shinpō in Incheon, took over the management. In 1931, the manager of Keijō Nippō Sōya Samejima renamed the title to the Chōsen Nichinichi. At the end of the year, Gokichi Saitō of the Chōsen Shōkō Shinbun acquired the newspaper and renamed it back to the Chōsen Nichi Nichi Shinbun. The Governor-General consolidated the press with the Chōsen Shōkō Shinbun in 1942 as part of its one paper, one province policy.
