Hokubei Asahi Shinbun / 北米朝日新聞, (San Francisco, CA)
Hokubei Asahi Shinbun, a daily paper founded by Kazuo “Shunshūrō” Ebina in 1931, merged with Shin Sekai Nichinichi Shinbun in 1935. The new paper was titled Shin Sekai Asahi Shinbun. Hokubei Asahi Shinbun featured both local and Tokyo-sourced news.
