El Heraldo de Nissei was a rare Spanish-only newspaper targeting the second generation of Japanese Mexicans. It was first issued in Mexico City in February 1948 by the publisher of Nichi-Boku Shinbun, a Japanese-language newspaper published in the same city. The papers shared the same editor, Salvador Shin'ichi Matsuo. The press intended to promote informational and cultural exchanges among Nisei.

『エル・ヘラルド・デ・ニセイ』は日系メキシコ人２世を対象とするスペイン語の新聞で、珍しい存在だった。初刊は1948年2月メキシコ・シティーにて、同市の日本語新聞『日墨新聞』の発行者が発行した。二紙の編集者は松尾 神一（スペイン語のファーストネームはサルヴァドーレ）が担当し、二世間の情報交換、文化交流を促進することを目的とした。
