Daikan Nippō
Daikan Nippō
(Seoul, Korea)

The Daikan Nippō was published by individuals such as Giichirō Yoshizawa, Kazuo Hagitani, and Seisaku Sakamoto in Incheon in March 1904. They later transferred the headquarters to Keijō (today's Seoul) on December 10 of that year. Initially, the newspaper positioned itself as pro-Japanese government policies in Korea and rivaled against the Daikan Mainichi Shinpō. However, it voiced against the Resident General Office of Korea after the Japanese annexation of Korea. The newspaper was renamed to the Chōsen Nippō in April 1910 and sold to the Resident General Office in September of that year.
